Updated October 2026 · HappyFares

Global Village is one of Dubai’s most popular winter outings, combining country pavilions, shopping, rides and live shows. Here is what is confirmed for the new season and what to check before you go.
When does Global Village Season 31 open and close?
The official Global Village website lists Season 31 as running from 14 October 2026 to May 2027, and the gates open on Wednesday 14 October at 6 pm. The theme is “A More Wonderful World”. No exact closing date has been published yet. Last season ended in May, so plan any trip in late spring with caution and check the website first.
Daily hours reported by Khaleej Times are 4 pm to midnight on Sundays to Wednesdays, with a later closing at 1 am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and on public holidays. Hours can change during the season, so confirm on the day you plan to visit.
How much are Global Village tickets in AED?
The official page said ticket details would be released soon, and Khaleej Times then reported on 8 October that Season 31 prices match last season’s:
- AED 25 on weekdays
- AED 30 on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and public holidays
The weekend rate now also applies to tickets bought for Sunday. Tickets are sold on the Global Village website and app and at the gates from opening day. Entry is free for children under three, for people aged 65 and over, and for People of Determination, subject to the attraction’s terms. Always confirm the final prices on globalvillage.ae before you pay.

What is there to see, and is there an India pavilion?
Yes, India is among the country pavilions named in season guides from Gulf News and others. A Khaleej Times preview says the new season has 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, around 40,000 shows and over 200 attractions. New this season are a stunt show and a Bollywood-themed show, and a new roller coaster is due to open later in the season. The Festival Wheel is also being refreshed.
The India pavilion’s own plans for the season, including any Diwali programme, have not been published. With Diwali on Sunday 8 November 2026, it is worth checking Global Village’s announcements nearer the date rather than assuming a particular event. How do you get to Global Village from the airport?
Dubai has two airports, Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC). Global Village is a road journey from either, so most visitors take a taxi or ride-hail, drive, or use a public bus.
Khaleej Times lists four public bus routes for the season: route 102 from CentrePoint Metro Station, route 103 from Union Metro Station, route 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station and route 106 from Mall of Emirates Metro Station. The service reportedly runs roughly 3:15 pm to 11:15 pm with about 30 minutes of travel time. This comes from a preview article, not an official transport authority notice, so check the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) for the confirmed routes and timetable before you rely on a bus.
If you drive, parking is free in several areas, with paid zones of AED 75 to AED 120 and VIP parking at AED 200 a day, according to the same reports.

When is the best time to visit, and what should you know?
Dubai’s winter months, roughly November to February, are usually the most comfortable for evening outdoor visits, while March to May tends to be warmer. Weekends carry the higher ticket price, so a weekday visit also costs less.
A few entry rules reported for the season: scooters, bicycles, skateboards and similar items are not allowed, pets are not allowed, filming needs a permit, and visitors are asked to dress modestly. Indian visitors still need a valid UAE entry visa and a passport with enough validity, so check the rules with the UAE’s official immigration channels or your airline before booking.
